Furthermore, the splendid buildings along the Ring Boulevard:

Moreover:
- the Schönbrunn Palace
- the Belvedere Palace
- the Secession

Schönbrunn Palace - UNESCO World Heritage
With Schönbrunn Palace and its gardens, Vienna has a second World Heritage Site. Schönbrunn is not only one of Austria's most important cultural assets, but also one of the most visited sights in the country.
Vienna, however, has more to offer than just the grandeur of the Empire and imperial architecture!
There is also the contemporary and modern Vienna to discover, such as the numerous Art Nouveau buildings, the Hundertwasser House and the Waste Incineration Plant (both buildings were designed by the artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser), the Danube Tower, the DC Tower, the Millennium Tower and the UNO City.
And what would Vienna be without the Giant Ferris Wheel in the Prater, without Grinzing and without the Kahlenberg?
UNESCO Biosphere Park Vienna Woods
West of Vienna are the Vienna Woods with their extensive forests, mystical places and impressive buildings. It is an important recreational area for the Viennese population. In 2005 the Vienna Woods were added to the list of UNESCO biosphere parks.
During a round trip through the Vienna Woods we recommend a short stop at Liechtenstein Castle and a visit to the Lake Grotto at Hinterbrühl.
An absolute MUST is a visit to the Cistercian Abbey of Heiligenkreuz and Mayerling. From the fateful and former hunting lodge of Crown Prince Rudolf, our tour continues through the romantic Helenental (Helen´s valley) to the spa and rose town of Baden.
