During our tour, we stroll through the narrow streets of the old town and discover the main landmarks:
- The Golden Roof
- The Helbling House
- The Inn Bridge
- St. James Cathedral
- The Imperial Palace and Court Church
- The City Tower and many more
Hungerburg Funicular & Nordkette Cable Car
Afterward, we head into high alpine terrain. From Innsbruck's old town we reach Austria's largest nature park within a few minutes!
The modern and futuristic Hungerburg Funicular – its stations were designed by star architect Zaha Hadid - transports us from the city centre up to Hungerburg. Onward we continue with the Nordkette Cable Railways up to Seegrube at 1.905 m and from there even higher up to the summit station of the Hafelekar at 2.256 m.
Total journey time from the city centre to the summit: approx. 40 minutes
An impressive nature experience and a fantastic panoramic view await you at the top.
Enjoy a breath-taking view of the capital of the Alps, the Karwendel Nature Park and an imposing mountain backdrop.

A second guide is recommended for groups of 35 or more participants. For 20 or more participants, it is recommended that you bring a Quiet Vox system. Depending on availability, we can also provide audio equipment on site free of charge.
